TEMPLEGATE’S Monday picks are below.

HIERONYMOUS (6.30 Kempton, nap)

Can strike at his favourite track. George Baker has hit the ground running at his new yard in Epsom and this veteran is in great nick. He has won at his beloved Kempton five times and this mile trip will be no issue. He battled well to win over seven furlongs here in February and still finds himself a pound lower than when winning here last year. Tonight’s rider Charles Bishop knows him really well having won on him three times and the pair could be hard to catch if they kick on from the front.

TORALOU (2.57 Redcar, nb)

Looks on a very dangerous mark on her handicap debut. She showed enough behind a smart prospect at Newcastle last time to suggest she’s better than this level.

CANDY WARHOL (4.05 Wolverhampton, treble)

Has the perfect draw and a repeat of his last run here would be good enough to take this.

CADELL (3.15 Kelso, Lucky 15)

Won a better race here last month. He’s up 3lb but the excellent Jack Power takes off 7lb so in theory he’s 4lb lower. He should take all the beating.
