THE M25 has been shut after three cars crashed sparking a huge fire – with drivers stuck in hour-long tailbacks.
The incident took place between Junction 13 for the A30 (Staines) and Junction 12 (M3) causing long queues all the way to Heathrow Airport.

Emergency services were called to the scene at just after 2pm this afternoon to reports of a car on fire.
Surrey Fire and Rescue service has since confirmed that three vehicles were involved in a crash with two caught up in the blaze.
Drivers have been warned of delays of up to an hour and a half on the M25 anti-clockwise between these two junctions as emergency services remain at the scene.
A spokesperson from the Surrey Fire and Rescue service said: “We received a call this afternoon around 2:05pm to a report of a vehicle fire on the M25 between Junction 14 to 13, Staines to Egham.
“Four fire engines were sent, arriving at the scene around 2:15pm. Three vehicles had been involved in a collision with two of the vehicles alight. Crews remain at the scene tackling the fire.”
