Ahmed Fahmy “exploited” his position at the accommodation in Golders Green, North London, to target his victims.

The 46-year-old sexually assaulted four women who had been staying at the hotel – including one who woke up to find him licking her feet.

He then raped one of the friends after she became separated from the group after a night out.

Fahmy has now been jailed for ten years with an extended licence period of three years after he was convicted of rape and sexual assault.

The Met Police have now launched a fresh appeal for any other potential victims to come forward.

Officers have so far already linked Fahmy to two other non-recent sexual assaults.

They confirmed he worked at five different hotels across London – including two in Wembley, one in Barnet, one in the Royal Victoria Docks and one in Marlow.

Detective Constable James Gomm, who led the investigation, said: “Fahmy used manipulation to abuse his position as a hotel worker and get close to his victims. He demonstrated a clear pattern of offending and abuse.

“There may be other victims of Fahmy and, if so, I would urge them to get in contact with police immediately – you will be listened to and provided with support.”

Harrow Crown Court heard the fiend carried out his sick crimes between 2008 and 2024.

Matthew Dalton, prosecuting, said the “case was that the defendant has exploited his position working at two hotels to indulge his foot fetish”.

On January 19, 2024, four women who travelled to London to stay in the hotel were targeted by Fahmy.

They had become separated on a night out – with three returning to the hotel in the early hours of the morning where they realised they did not have the room key.

Fahmy claimed he did not have another key and demanded that one of the women withdraw £80 from a nearby cashpoint so she could stay in a different room.

She got into bed but was woken up by Fahmy licking her foot, the court heard.

The woman told him “no” and to go away and he left before returning to attack her again.

When her friend returned to the hotel claiming to have lost the room key, Fahmy manoeuvred her into his bedroom where he raped her.

The police said Fahmy was linked two other non-recent sexual assaults in which he touched women’s feet.

In one case, this led to him being arrested but no further action was taken.

Fahmy was accused of touching a victim’s feet in a room at a hotel he was working at in Canning Town, East London, in the other case.

One victim, who was sexually assaulted in January last year, said in a victim impact statement she has “lost trust in men”.

She added: “I am angry about what happened. I don’t sleep well at night, I also don’t see friends as much.”

Judge John Lodge said Fahmy will be made subject to a sexual harm prevention order and will remain on the sex offender register for the rest of his life.

He said: “You were in circumstances where you could see vulnerable people, often vulnerable because they had come to London to enjoy themselves, had taken drink, and you took advantage.

“I’m fully satisfied that you are a dangerous offender.”
