A 45-YEAR-OLD man was killed after allegedly being “bundled into a car and attacked” outside a Post Office with police arresting one man.
Cops began investigating an assault after the man was attacked on Ashton Road in Oldham, Manchester, back on September 10, 2023.
The victim, now named as Martin Shaw, was was reportedly bundled into a grey Audi.
He was then driven away and assaulted before being taken back home, said Greater Manchester Police.
But Shaw later attended Royal Oldham Hospital in a critical condition.
Tragically he died as a result of his injuries almost two months later, on November 4, 2023.
A 36-year-old man has now been arrested on suspicion of murder after Shaw’s death.
He remains in custody for police questioning this morning.
Cops launched a murder investigation after Shaw’s death was pronounced.
Shortly after the incident, in which Mr Shaw suffered “significant injuries” before being left at his home, a woman was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
She was later released.
