On Truth Social, Trump said: “I am not happy with the Russian strikes on KYIV. Not necessary, and very bad timing.

“Vladimir, STOP! 5000 soldiers a week are dying.

“Let’s get the Peace Deal DONE!”

The stark order came hours after Trump slammed Zelensky for not agreeing to a peace deal.

The US president said: “He [Zelensky] can have peace or, he can fight for another three years before losing the whole country.”

The Ukrainian President rushed back home from a visit to South Africa on Thursday after an unprecedented blitz on Kyiv which killed nine people.

The barbaric attack came as Trump attempts to wrap up a peace deal before his 100th day in office which comes later this month.

Trump described Zelensky as a “man with no cards to play” as he announced a US/Russia peace deal is soon to be agreed.

He then insisted a complete peace deal between both Ukraine and Russia was “very close”- but it all hinges on Zelensky “getting it done”.

Trump added that his Ukrainian counterpart can choose to continue to fight if he so wishes but it will cost him “the whole country”.
