TEMPLEGATE tackles Sunday’s action confident of banging in a few winners.

OVERTURE (4.15 Southwell, nap).

She improved with every run last season and brought up four wins on the spin here last time out in September. Like many horses trained by the great man, she has found more for every step up in distance and this extra furlong should be right up her street. All ground comes the same and she could end up a Listed filly by the end of the campaign. This looks a good place to start.

COMA CLUSTER (2.30 Wetherby, nb)

She has joined George Boughey from the retiring Sir Michael Stoute and she is another who will improve with racing. She was boxing on over the extended mile last time so this longer distance can bring improvement.

DRAMA (6.15 Southwell, treble)

He needed his comeback at Newbury last time after six months off and his best form has come on the sand. His last all-weather run saw him scoot in at Kempton and this trip is ideal.
