Desperate search for boy, 13, who vanished from his home last night as cops urge neighbours to check doorbell cameras

A DESPERATE search is underway for a boy who vanished from his home last night – with neighbours urged to check their doorbell cameras.

Junior, 13, was last seen at 8.15pm in the Rumney area of Cardiff.

Cops have now issued an urgent appeal to find the teenager.

He is described as 5ft 9ins tall and of large build, with black hair with ginger streaks.

At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a black Nike tracksuit, black Nike trainers and a blue t-shirt.

Residents of Harris Avenue and nearby streets have been urged to check any CCTV and doorbell footage.

In a statement, posted to X, a spokesperson for South Wales Police said: “Help Us Find Junior, 13, missing from #Rumney, #Cardiff.

“Junior was last seen at 8:15pm yesterday (Sunday April 27) on Harris Avenue.”
