Last night, Mark Williams beat World No1 Judd Trump 17-14 to book his meeting with Zhao Xintong in this year’s Crucible final.
The Welsh cueist is looking to add a fourth World Championship crown to his collection and become the oldest winner of the prestigious tournament in the process.
Zhao is also eyeing history as he looks to become the first Asian player and first amateur to conquer the Crucible.
The winner of the blockbuster final won’t just take home the iconic trophy, but will leave Sheffield with a huge cheque for £500,000.
