The 38-year-old’s family said in a tribute via Devon and Cornwall Police: “As a family, we are struggling to come to terms with Danny’s passing.

“He is well loved by his family and friends and as a family we cherish his love and memories.

Mum-of-two Paris Wilson, 34, is accused of teaming up with a crime gang to kidnap and kill her ex-boyfriend.
Sulphuric acid was thrown in the face of personal trainer Danny, while his daughter was sleeping upstairs.
Wilson previously worked as a probation officer in the city’s Barbican area — helping released criminals with housing and jobs.
She also volunteered at Dartmoor Prison, teaching male inmates to read and write.
Wilson, of The Quay, Plymouth, appeared at the city’s magistrates’ court last month charged with conspiracy to murder, conspiracy to kidnap and participation in the criminal activity of an organised crime group.
Referring to Wilson, a source previously told The Sun: “Paris was trusted to access the prison and worked closely with inmates.
“Nobody can believe she’s now locked up.”
Nine people in total – seven from London and two from Plymouth – have been charged over the attack. Some also face drugs charges.
Six of the men and both women have been charged with conspiracy to murder and conspiracy to kidnap.
Another man has been charged with applying a corrosive fluid with intent to burn, maim, disfigure or do grievous bodily harm, aggravated burglary, possession of an offensive weapon, and drug offences.
Four of the men have also been charged with laundering the proceeds of crime.
Eight of the defendants, including Wilson, are due to appear at Plymouth Crown Court on May 12 and another is due to appear before the same court on June 16.
