Littler defeated Humphries 6-3 in Aberdeen on week 15 of the Premier League on Thursday night in a high-class affair.
Teen sensation Littler averaged 116 compared to Humphries‘ 110 and there were a total of FOURTEEN 180s smashed in the match.
And Humphries believes fans are in for something special when the top two players in the world join forces for England next month.
He told the Weekly Dartscast: “I feel like the fans are going to enjoy watching us both play together.
“The two best players in the world, a lot of pressure is going to be on our shoulders.
“I think everybody is expecting us to win it and no one’s going to touch us.”
Seven-time major winner Humphries isn’t underestimating the competition and knows plenty of opponents could spring a shock.
He added: “There are great teams in there. The likes of Gezzy [Price] and Jonny [Clayton] are a potential banana skin.

“Gian van Veen is playing really well. Him and Danny [Noppert], if they get going, that’s a tough team.
“Gary [Anderson] and Peter [Wright], Peter’s playing better again now.
“These are all potential banana skins.
“But if me and Luke gel and everything goes well, it’s going to be an incredibly tough performance to beat us both.”
England are the defending champions after Humphries and Michael Smith claimed a fifth title for their nation last year.
