The lad was rushed taken to the Famagusta hospital in Paralimni, but then urgently transferred to Nicosia general hospital – the largest on the island.
Doctors have described his condition as “serious”, and cops have launched an investigation into the circumstances.
The worrying news comes follows a very similar incident in another holiday hotspot on the Costa del Sol.
Another Brit holidaymaker was left fighting for his life after plunging from a hotel balcony at 5am.
The tourist was rushed to hospital in a “critical condition” after the incident at the Hard Rock Hotel in Puerto Banus, near Marbella.
The Brit was initially taken to the Costa del Sol Hospital in Marbella before being transferred to the Regional University Hospital of Malaga.
Witnesses say the unnamed holidaymaker plunged from a first-floor balcony – but it’s said to have been the equivalent of a third-floor fall.
It’s understood that he fell from the balcony onto a public street.
Three friends the Brit was with – who is described by unconfirmed reports as being young – have been quizzed by cops as part of an ongoing investigation.
