The Wolverhampton boxer beat Harry Scarff in January to claim the Lonsdale belt.

Walker looked to be heading for a points defeat to Scarff, but he turned the bout on its head and delivered a brutal knockout in the 11th round.

He now defends the strap for the first time against Taylor, who is unbeaten since his defeat to David Avanesyan in 2021.

Taylor has fought for the Lonsdale belt once before, back in 2019 when Chris Jenkins was champ.

The fight was waved off early due to a head clash in the fourth round, resulting in a technical draw.
