On Tuesday night, the match between Korean side Ulsan Hyundai and South African outfit Mamelodi Sundowns in Orlando was delayed for 65 minutes.
The thunderstorm caused kick-off to be shifted back from 6pm local time to 7:05pm.
Sundowns eventually went on to win the match 1-0, with Igraam Rayners’ 36th minute goal splitting the sides.
