MANCHESTER UNITED and Everton are both showing interest in Leicester star Wilfried Ndidi, according to reports.
Ndidi, 28, is thought to be available for a cut-price fee this summer after Leicester were relegated back to the Championship.
Man Utd and Everton are both interested in signing Wilfried NdidiRex
According to TalkSPORT, Ndidi has a £9million release clause in his contract as a result of the Foxes’ relegation.
They claim that both Man Utd and Everton have shown interest in the Nigerian because of the low fee.
Both clubs were linked with Ndidi last summer when the defensive midfielder was available as a free agent, before he penned a three-year deal at the King Power.
But that deal could now be cut short amid the temptation of a return to the Premier League.
It’s well documented that Man Utd’s transfer kitty is much smaller than they would like, given their inability to qualify for European football for the first time since 2015.
Ndidi’s relatively small fee makes him an affordable target in a summer where the Old Trafford execs will have to be savvy with their spending.
While midfield reinforcements could also be crucial for Ruben Amorim‘s side with rumours continuing to swirl around an exit for Casemiro.
Both United and Everton will also have to battle with clubs from Saudi Arabia, who are also said to be circling a move for Ndidi.

Ndidi made 28 Premier League appearances for Leicester last season, registering five assists in the process.
The Red Devils have already signed Matheus Cunha from Wolves this summer, sealing the deal for the Brazilian for a fee of £62.5m.
While they are currently working on signing Brentford winger Bryan Mbuemo, having tabled a second offer for the 25-year-old worth in excess of £60million.
There could also be a number of high-profile exits from the Theatre of Dreams in the coming weeks too.
SunSport reported this week that Spanish giants Barcelona are considering a loan move for wantaway star Marcus Rashford.
Meanwhile out-of-favour winger Jadon Sancho is closing in on a move to join Jose Mourinho’s Fenerbahce side.
