The two Liverpool fans were then ushered off the stage by a security guard.

But Gerrard appeared baffled at what had just happened as he could be seen laughing in the background.

The clip has gone viral on social media, but fans joked that the act could have a negative effect on the young lad.

Some teased that the boy could inherit the unreliable footing that cost Gerrard the Premier League title.

The 114-capped England midfielder infamously slipped against Chelsea during the 2013/14 title race.

His fall allowed Demba Ba to race through and score the Blues’ go-ahead goal in the 2-0 win at Anfield.
