RONNIE O’Sullivan has tied the knot with Footballers’ Wives actress Laila Rouass.

Last week The Sun revealed that the pair had rekindled their relationship ten months after splitting.

And they’ve now announced they’re married as Laila shared a snap of their low-key wedding.

EastEnders and Strictly star Laila, 53, who is of Moroccan and Indian heritage, said she’d chosen to get hitched on Cable Street in Shadwell, East London, to celebrate her roots.

Laila wrote on Instagram: “Palestinians have taught me so much, most importantly to honour human connection, make love your motivator and to keep refreshing it. So l suppose after almost a year break…this was one way of pressing the refresh button.

“Ok… so it wasn’t Venice…that was fully booked.

“It was Cable Street in Shadwell where I was born and where my heart belongs. It’s where in 1936, local activists along with the Jewish community gathered together to demonstrate against the planned fascist BUF marchers.

“The Battle of Cable Street was used by my father as an example of how a community rooted in justice, can bring change…that we all have a duty to fight for the freedom and rights of others.

“The East End is the land of the immigrants. Its vibrancy, diversity and working class roots is something I treasure. I was born there, I was educated there, today I was married there and I will be buried there because my roots are my roots.

“Free Palestine

“Mrs O’Sullivan.”

Ronnie — nicknamed the Rocket because of his explosive stayle of play — proposed to Laila in 2013, a year after they started dating.

They met when actress Laila was house hunting – and was shown around the snooker player’s property by his dad Ronnie.

The Sun first revealed they had ended their engagement last September after his hectic work schedule pushed them apart.

However, the time apart gave them time to think about what they want — and that is being together, a source told us.

The insider added: “They’ve been on and off before but Ronnie really wants to make it work with Laila.”

The couple now have plans to move to Dubai after hoping for a “clean break” from the UK.

Seven-time world champion Ronnie, 49, is selling his £2million house in Chigwell, Essex.

A source said: “They have been back together for a while. The time apart gave them time to think about what they want and what is important to them — and that is being together.

“Ronnie is moving to the Middle East and Laila is going with him.

“They’ve talked about living in Dubai, which is just a two-hour flight from where Ronnie has his snooker academy in Saudi Arabia.

“He has spoken to people on his snooker circuit about the move and is excited about a clean break from the UK for him and Laila.

“They have had their issues in the past but Ronnie and Laila have worked through it and seem really happy again.

“The people who know them think they make a great couple and just want them to live a happy, quiet life.”

Ronnie has three children – two daughters and a son – from previous relationships.

The snooker player – who’s nicknamed The Rocket – had Taylor-Ann Magnus (born in 1996) from a two-year relationship with Sally Magnus, and Lily (born 2006) and Ronnie Jr (born 2007) from a relationship with Jo Langley.
