AN URGENT manhunt for three lags who absconded from jail has been launched with police desperately trying to recapture the offenders.
Jason MacDonagh, 34, Daniel Harty, 34 and Barney Casey, 24, all escaped from HMP Springhill.

The men escaped from the open prison near Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire on Monday, June 23.
The three escaped lags could be dangerous, cops have urged the public not to approach them.
All three are originally from Ireland and were serving time for a spate of high-value burglaries.
The trio worked together to steal £300,000 worth of jewellery and cash from more than 50 homes across the UK in 2023.
Their spree came to an end after cops connected a car, owned by MacDonagh, and phone records to the burglaries.
A fourth member of the gang, Darren O’Halloran, 38, was arrested and jailed in connection with the robberies.
MacDonagh is described as a white man, at around 5ft 9ins tall, of medium build and has ginger hair.
Casey is a white man, at around 5ft 9ins tall, of small build and has black hair.
He has slight facial hair and a moustache and goatee beard.
Harty is a white man, at around 5ft 9ins tall, of slim build with black hair and a black beard.
All three of the escapees were last seen wearing grey tracksuit bottoms, police are appealing for any information that could lead to their recapture.
The escaped lags are known to frequent Bristol, West Midlands, Leicestershire, Leeds, Bradford, Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland.
All three of the lags were convicted of conspiracy to burgle and jailed for a total of almost 50 years at Birmingham Crown Court.
Police staff investigator, Claire Busby said: “We are appealing to the public for any information around MacDonagh, Casey and Harty’s whereabouts, or anyone who may see them to get in touch.
“We would advise members of the public not to approach them, but call 999 instead.
