Omari Hutchinson added to the Liverpool star’s strike on 24 minutes to make it 2-0.
Right on half-time, Nelson Weiper’s bullet header got the Germans back into the final.
On the hour mark, Paul Nebel got the all-important equaliser for Germany, which resulted in the tie going to extra time.
Minutes into the additional period, England super sub Jonathan Rowe headed England back in front with his THIRD touch.
The Germans had no reply, despite hitting the crossbar at the death, and Carsley’s side successfully retained their status as European champions.
