SOHAM monster Ian Huntley has sparked fury by wearing a No10 Manchester United-style shirt — an apparent sick reference to his ten-year-old victims Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman.
They were both wearing United tops when murdered by school caretaker Huntley in Cambridgeshire on August 4, 2002..

Now 51, he is serving a life term at HMP Frankland, Durham, where a source said: “He’s been seen strutting about in the shirt as if it’s funny. It is vile.”
Huntley was called a “sick b****d” by inmates for wearing the football top — and responded with a thumbs-up.
He was jailed for at least 40 years in 2003 and is serving two life terms at HMP Frankland, Co Durham.
Lags there say he has been “strutting about” in the plain red sports top with No10 on the back, which he is thought to have ordered from Sports Direct.
Prisoners are barred from wearing replica shirts of teams they follow, as they can cause conflict.
But a source said: “Huntley has made it as close to a Man U top as he can — and it is sick.
“It is vile that it has a huge white number 10 on the back.
“Everyone thinks he is doing it to satisfy his own sick mind, rather than for football reasons.
“He started wearing it when it became hot enough this year and is often seen in it when he walks to the gym or to healthcare.”
Sources said one inmate complained about the shirt in May — and was told the prison would not discuss individuals.
“Huntley is always escorted by guards because he is so high-risk and has been attacked in the past.”
The source added: “But that makes him even more cocky and brazen.
“He has been seen strutting about in the shirt as if he thinks it’s funny.”
“Prisoners on another wing saw him recently while he was being taken to the gym — and shouted that he was a sick b*****d.
“But he just gave a thumbs-up to them. He has also stopped outside and turned his back to people so they can see the number.
“Other prisoners are really angry about it and a lot of them would like to get their hands on him and mete out a bit of justice.
“One prisoner said they thought it was disgusting he was wearing it and he replied, ‘Yeah, and what of it?’
“Officers also do not like it and quite a few have said it’s wrong and he should have it taken off him.
“But staff are powerless to stop him as it’s not an actual football shirt and he hasn’t broken any rules. However it is just wrong.
“Huntley is not even a football fan really. The Number 10 is especially offensive and seems a sick reference to the girls.”

Last night Tory Shadow Justice Secretary Robert Jenrick said: “This disgusting murderer shouldn’t be swanning around jail in a shirt designed to insult the memory of Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman.
“It should be ripped off his back by prison officers.
“The family of those two poor girls are entitled to know that Huntley isn’t getting any special treatment in jail, and that his life is as miserable as it can be made to be.”
A picture of Holly and Jessica wearing matching Man Utd tops with David Beckham’s name and No7 was the last haunting image of the school friends.
We are not publishing that picture after previous requests to the media from Holly and Jessica’s families not to do so.
One of the sickest crimes
The girls had left a family barbecue to buy sweets when they stopped to speak to Huntley outside the house where he lived with his girlfriend Maxine Carr, their teaching assistant.
He lured them in and murdered them. Their bodies were found 13 days later six miles from Soham.
They had been dumped in a ditch near RAF Lakenheath, Suffolk. The shirts were found burned and dumped in a bin.
Huntley and Carr were arrested on August 17, 2002. We reported on August 21, 2002, left, how Huntley was then taken to Rampton hospital in Nottinghamshire for psychiatric tests.
Huntley denied the murders and put the girls’ families through a harrowing six-week trial at the Old Bailey from November 2003.
Months earlier, in June 2003, he had attempted suicide at Woodhill prison in Milton Keynes, Bucks.
The fiend claimed at his trial that Holly suffered a nose bleed and fell into a bath, banging her head and drowning.
He said Jessica screamed so he put his hand over her mouth until she stopped.
Huntley was sent to Wakefield jail where in 2005 he was scalded with boiling water by another lag.
In September 2006 he tried to kill himself in his cell and was rushed to hospital.
He was transferred to Frankland in 2008. In 2010 he was he received non life-threatening injuries to his neck after his throat was slashed.

Maxine Carr was also convicted in relation to the killings after giving Huntley a false alibiCambridgeshire Police
Carr, now 47, served 21 months for perverting justice after giving Huntley a false alibi. She now lives under a new identity.
Replica football and rugby shirts were banned across all prisons in England and Wales in 2013.
Most governors had already barred them before the law was introduced.
But lags can order sportswear from outlets like Sports Direct, Mainline Menswear, JD Sports and Argos.
And they can keep a limited number of personal clothing items, including up to nine tops.
Those can be removed as punishment. Huntley’s red shirt is listed on a property card as one of his permitted items.
The Prison Service said: “We do not comment on individuals.”
He’s right at home
KILLER Ian Huntley is housed with other murderers and terrorists in a jail dubbed “Monster Mansion”.
HMP Frankland holds Milly Dowler’s killer Levi Bellfield and ex- police officer Wayne Couzens, who murdered Sarah Everard.
Grindr killer Stephen Port, morgue monster David Fuller and Mark Dixie, who murdered Sally-Ann Bowman, are all serving time at the Category A jail. Frankland, in Co Durham, also houses terrorists including Lee Rigby’s killer Michael Adebolajo and Nazi nail-bomber David Copeland.
Manchester Arena plotter Hashem Abedi stabbed and scalded three prison officers in a kitchen there in April. He has since moved.
