Ernestas attacked 39-year-old Nina Denisova with a large kitchen knife while she was sleeping in bed at around 6.40am on August 17, 2024, inflicting catastrophic injuries.
Kent Police officers detained Juska at a bus stop before he led them to the crime scene at his home on Henderson Drive.
In bodycam footage he is seen sitting cross-legged on the floor as an officer asks: “What’s going on, lad?”
Juska responds: “I killed someone.”
Officers can be seen putting handcuffs on the murderer.
He later tells the officer that “she’s a friend of his mum’s” and that her body was “in the house”.
The woman was found deceased on a bed having suffered multiple stab wounds.
In a later confession, he told police that Nina was a family friend who had stayed overnight.
He said that he had committed the horrific stabbing because he wanted “to lash out”.
The killer also admitted that he had chosen Nina because it was important that she wasn’t someone close to him.
Juska told a member of the public to call the police because he had killed someone just hours after the stabbing.
He was subsequently arrested and taken into custody.
The killer had consumed alcohol and cocaine the night before the attack, and described the “excitement” he’d felt leading up to the stabbing.
He admitted to sexually abusing her dead body after he had attacked the victim.
Juska will be sentenced on November 28 and could face a life sentence.
Detective Sergeant Max Gregory said: “The depravity of Juska’s actions is almost indescribable. He inflicted horrific injuries to his defenceless victim and admitted he had no real motive for killing her other than wanting to harm someone who wasn’t related to him.
“During police interviews he spoke of the excitement he felt in the moments leading up to this barbaric murder. For Juska to then commit further heinous acts on the deceased woman is beyond comprehension.
“Juska’s crimes have ultimately led to the senseless loss of a beloved daughter and sister and our thoughts remain with her family.”
