Gyokeres will cost Arsenal an initial £54.5m with the rest of the fee coming in performance-based add-ons.
According to sports broadcaster Ben Jacobs, Sporting will earn £1.09m after each 20 games in which Gyokeres plays over 45 minutes.
These add-ons will continue being paid until a maximum payment of £4.36m is reached.
The Gunners will also pay out £436,000 when Gyokeres has reached a total of 20 goals and assists, with a further payment of the same amount due when he reaches 40.
And a payment of £870,000 will be due each time Arsenal qualify for the Champions League.
This will apply until the Gunners qualify four times while Gyokeres plays for them.
The former Coventry star was believed to have had a gentleman’s agreement with Sporting to leave this summer for £50.8m.
And he was said to have been on the brink of going on strike when his club suddenly demanded a higher fee.

But stubborn Sporting president Frederico Varandas has finally relented after receiving a bid he deems acceptable.
And as a result, Gyokeres is set to join the Gunners’ tour in Singapore shortly, likely making his debut against Tottenham.
