A MUM and a child were flashed on woodland walk, police said – as cops launch urgent hunt for a man in his 40s.

Kent Police ask for anyone with footage on nearby roads where the suspect may have walked to come forward.

Residents are being urged to check CCTV and doorbell cameras after a man exposed himself in front of a woman and a child.

He was seen with his trousers removed in the village of Rusthall, near to the church, at around 2.05pm on July 24.

The woman was walking with her child in a wooded area of the Happy Valley when they were flashed.

Police said the suspect was white, of slim build and possibly in his 40s.

He was wearing a black t-shirt and a light-coloured baseball cap.

Detective Inspector Chris Mayers said: “This was a deeply distressing incident for the victim and her young child, and we are treating it with the utmost seriousness.

“We are appealing to anyone who may have a man acting suspiciously in the area to come forward.

“This includes asking for residents to please check any camera footage which may show the route he took.

“Your information, no matter how small it may seem, could be vital to our investigation.”
