They have been linked with a number of forwards, none of whom will be cheap.
One of their top transfer targets is 22-year-old Benjamin Sesko, rated at a minimum of £68.5million and up to £85.5m by RB Leipzig.
Sun Sport exclusively revealed how the north London club were prepared to pay £70m for the Slovenian ace, who scored 21 goals and added six assists in all competitions for his team last season.
And the 6ft 5″ colossus appears to have dropped one of the biggest hints yet over his future after following Arsenal on Instagram.
The change was noticed by fans on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Sesko’s barber – who goes by the account name Sensei.London and has just under 3,000 followers on the platform – also shared a message to his star client which may further solidify the rumours.
Taking to Instagram, a post of Sesko wearing sunglasses and swimming trunks while on holiday, standing and laughing alongside his barber during a trip to Mykonos, Greece, was shared to Instagram.
It was captioned: “Always a pleasure to have you here brat @Benjaminsesko.

“We hope to have you in London from this winter.”
Reacting to the social media clues, one fan said: “Will be a good signing.”
A second said: “Stop tempting me with joy.”
A third added: “Thank you God.”
Another said: “He’s ours now! Welcome home Benjamin Sesko.”
A fifth said: “Arsenal could be wanting a quadruple next season.”
However, as other fans pointed out, Arsenal are not the only major club the striker follows, with Manchester City and Real Madrid both on the list as well.

While Sesko may have followed the club itself, other targets such as Alexander Isak follow some Arsenal stars.
Isak follows captain Martin Odegaard and Mikel Merino, as well as long-term Arsenal target Martin Zubimendi, though Merino and Zubimendi both starred alongside him at Real Sociedad.
But while the Emirates outfit have continued to search for a new ace, they have also been busy strengthening their squad.
Yesterday it was revealed they are set to sign Brentford captain Christian Norgaard in a deal worth £9.3m.
They are also on the brink of completing a £5m deal for goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga.
Zubimendi is all but done and the player is in London, though it won’t be completed until next month because Real Sociedad want the deal to count towards the next financial year, which won’t start until July 1.
Arsenal are also still in the running for Viktor Gyokeres, but Liverpool have now joined them and Manchester United in expressing interest in the Swede.
Inside Arsenal’s frustrating striker transfer saga
By Jordan Davies
ARSENAL’S never-ending hunt for a world-class striker is in turmoil as deals for Benjamin Sesko and Viktor Gyokeres stall.
The Gunners were confident of doing their business quickly this summer after months of preparation by boss Mikel Arteta and new sporting director Andrea Berta.
But inflated asking prices and broken gentlemen’s agreements have derailed those plans and left Arsenal frustrated.
Sesko believed he would be allowed to leave RB Leipzig for around £60million, while SunSport understands Gyokeres was told £59m would be enough to seal his own exit.
But those price-tags have gone up, leaving Arsenal debating whether they represent value for money.
While the players’ camps are also growing restless, knowing the Gunners can only sign one of them.
So what next? Will Arsenal keep waiting in the hope of fees eventually going down? Or turn to other targets, like Frankfurt’s Hugo Ekitike?
Whatever they decide, with pre-season looming and the fixtures already out, Arteta will be desperate for them to move quickly to avoid another nearly season.
