A NEW mugshot of the suspect in the case of missing 11-year-old girl Audrii Cunningham captures a swastika tattoo.
The mugshot featuring the tattoo on Don Steven McDougal’s shoulder was released as officials confirmed at a press conference on Tuesday that Audrii’s body was found in Trinity River.
Lieutenant Craig Cummings previously confirmed that now-suspect McDougal was arrested Friday on unrelated charges and was a person of interest in Audrii’s disappearance.
McDougal, 42, is the subject of capital murder allegations, according to Polk County District Attorney Shelly Bush-Sitton.
Audrii was last seen on Thursday morning before she was supposed to get on the bus for school. Law enforcement said that she never got on the bus or arrived at school.
