Newcastle are set to begin their Premier League season this weekend.

Eddie Howe‘s side begin with a trip to Aston Villa this Saturday lunchtime.

Burn was in action as Newcastle drew 2-2 with Espanyol at St James’ Park last Friday.

A much-changed Toon side then lost 2-0 to Atletico Madrid the following day, with Burn not involved.

One man not involved in either game was wantaway forward Alexander Isak.

Newcastle are yet to agree a deal for a potential replacement for the Swede, with Benjamin Sesko having chosen a move to Manchester United instead.

But the Magpies are set to bolster their back line with a £35million swoop for Malick Thiaw.
