The centre-back is now adamant that he will not sign a new contract with Palace and instead let his current deal run out in June.
The England international’s situation, which will make him a free agent next summer has attracted the interest of various suitors.
According to Sport, Barcelona are among them as they will be needing a central defender next year.
Barca lost Inigo Martinez to Al-Nassr and are braced for Andreas Christensen’s departure as his contract runs out in June.
The Blaugrana don’t seem keen to offer Christensen a new deal at the Nou Camp.
And so, Guehi has been added to Barcelona sporting director Deco’s shortlist of targets for next year.
However, the Spanish champions face competition as rivals Real Madrid are also linked.
And of course Liverpool are expected to come back for the defender, whom they came so close to signing that he completed a medical and prepared a farewell video for Palace fans.

Guehi‘s move to Anfield didn’t go through because the Eagles couldn’t get a replacement.
SunSport understand Palace asked for Joe Gomez as part of the deal for the Chelsea academy graduate.
In fact, the Eagles demanded either a £50million fee or for Gomez to be included in the deal for Guehi.
Liverpool made it clear that their defender would only be available in a separate deal, especially considering the Palace star only has one year left on his current contract.
