BARCELONA have taken emergency action to ensure Marcus Rashford can be registered by the club.
The 27-year-old joined the Catalan giants on a season-long loan with a £26million option to buy from Manchester United last month.

But just three days before they begin their LaLiga title defence begins against Mallorca, Rashford is still not registered as a Barca player.
The board are now ready to take emergency financial action to solve the issue.
They are currently unable to register new signings due to overspending on their salary limit.
But to help balance the books, chiefs have now decided to put their own personal wealth at risk as part of a bank guarantee worth £6m.
The Athletic report that the club expect all their new summer signings to be registered in time for the season.
The deadline is at the end of this transfer window and any player not counted for will be banned from playing until it reopens in January.
Barca signed goalkeeper Joan Garcia from rivals Espanyol and have used an injury loophole to register him.
An official statement confirmed: “Barca informs that LaLiga’s independent medical panel have resolved that Marc Andre ter Stegen’s injury meets the criteria of long-term injuries established in their current rulebook.

“Barca will proceed tomorrow to finalise the registration of goalkeeper Joan Garcia immediately.”
Aside from Rashford, the Spanish champions still need to register Wojciech Szczesny after he penned a new contract and full-back Gerard Martin as he is now too old to count as a youth-team player.
Barca claim in their standoff with LaLiga that the sale of the new executive boxes at the revamped Nou Camp for £86.9m in December 2024 has seen them add to their salary limit.
But the cash has not been approved by auditors and therefore cannot be added to the spending limit.
Reports suggest Barca are hopeful the money is approved in the next few weeks.
