BARCELONA can sign Manchester United’s out-of-favour star Marcus Rashford in a bargain deal once his imminent loan move is completed.

Rashford, 27, fell out of favour under United manager Ruben Amorim in November and spent the second half of last season on loan at Aston Villa.

The versatile forward was then ordered to train alone with other outcasts at Carrington after the first team had left the facility.

However, the England international has been given a way out of his Man Utd hell by joining Barca – a dream move he has been pushing for all summer.

The Blaugrana and the Red Devils have agreed on a season-long loan for Rashford and an official announcement is expected for Wednesday – following his nightmare journey to Spain.

And the deal includes a tiny £26million buyout clause that the Catalan giants could trigger if they wish to hold on to the Man Utd academy graduate next year, according to Mundo Deportivo.

That is significantly less than what he was previously valued at during his heyday at Old Trafford – and a drop on the £40m Aston Villa would have had to pay to keep him last season.

CIES rated Rashford between £130m and £170m four years ago, which made him the most valuable player in the world along with Erling Haaland at the time.

But the winger’s value has significantly dropped since 2023, just a few months after a stunning campaign that saw him notching a staggering total of 30 goals and 12 assists in 56 appearances.

Rashford has since been unable to replicate that form and seriously struggled under former United boss Erik ten Hag as well as his successor Amorim.

Barcelona will reportedly cover all of Rashford’s £325,000-a-week wages to bring him to LaLiga.

That agreement will save the Manchester giants around £15m in wages, which is key for Amorim as he looks to overhaul the squad on a budget.
