Earps, 30, was influential in helping England reach the World Cup final.

She registered three clean sheets and conceded just four goals in the entire competition, earning her the prestigious Golden Glove award.

She also saved a penalty in the final despite the Lionesses’ 1-0 defeat to Spain in Sydney.

Earps was named England Women’s Player of the Year for the 2022–23 season, and subsequently drew plaudits when getting Nike to reverse their decision not to manufacture a replica jersey with her name on it.

She is available at odds-on 8/11 to scoop the SPOTY award, ahead of retired England cricketer Stuart Broad (9/4).

Broad ended his glittering career when bowling England to a dramatic victory in the fifth Ashes Test against Australia earlier this year.
