AN ex-TV doctor sexually assaulted a 12-year-old boy and groped a male patient while making him watch porn, a court heard.

Aivar Bracka, 73, is charged with four counts of indecent assault and one count of indecent assault against a child aged 14 or younger.

Jurors heard Bracka carried out the abuse between 1994 and 2000 when he was a consultant at Russells Hall Hospital in Dudley, West Midlands.

During this time former surgeon Bracka starred in the BBC documentary TV show Trust Me, I’m A Doctor.

One of his alleged victims told Wolverhampton Crown Court that Bracka sexually assaulted him during a consultation.

Giving evidence via video link, the man said: “He touched me. I know when someone is gripping my penis.

“It never left my mind after it happened and has never left my mind since.

“He pulled out this East German style pornography and told me to get an erection in five minutes.

“This stuff repulsed me. I was a young man, used to seeing online pornography.

“But this stuff was from the 1970s and was disgusting. It all felt so weird. I felt under pressure.”

The victim told the jury he had a “nanosecond to process and a lifetime to analyse” what happened to him.

He added that during appointments with Bracka he “froze” and “looked away and tried not to cry”.

The jury were told evidence of another man who was assaulted by the doctor when he was a child who has since died from alcohol and drugs.

The first time he was examined without his parents – when he was 12 – the man claimed Bracka sexually assaulted him and then again at age 15.

The second complainant told jurors Bracka undressed during a consultation and sat down next to him naked and put his penis on his thigh.

The court heard Bracka worked as a consultant at Russells Hall Hospital until 2010, when he was then struck off by the General Medical Council.

Bracka, of the West Midlands, denies all five charges of indecent assault.

The trial continues.
