Betting preview for Man City vs Crystal Palace
Manchester City head into the weekend action in fourth place and are the chasers for the time being.
They ended a two-game search for a win by coming from behind to beat relegation-threatened Luton last time out.
A second string side then beat Red Star in midweek in their final Champions League group stage game.
They’ll head into this game as the overwhelming favourites but it’s not a fixture they’ve enjoyed much in the past.
They’ve only won two of the last four meetings with Palace, including losing a home league game 2-0 to the Eagles in 2021.
Roy Hodgson’s men are struggling somewhat at present, though winning just one of their last nine games.
They’re seven points clear of safety as it stands and need something to turn soon.

City can’t afford to drop any more points and Palace’s form means it’s unlikely they will.
But their issue is they can’t keep the ball out their own net.
The last league clean sheet came at Old Trafford in October and Palace’s pace on the counter could cause issues.
