BIRMINGHAM CITY and Ipswich Town have both been hit with charges by the FA after their Championship clash turned into absolute chaos.
The 16-man brawl involved a fan getting floored in the madness after jumping in from the stands.

The ugly scenes unfolded on the opening night of the season with former Manchester United captain Ashley Young caught up in the shocking melee.
The carnage kicked off in the dying minutes of the match when a last-gasp penalty for Ipswich – awarded after a controversial handball by Lyndon Dykes, led to tempers boiling over.
George Hirst slammed it home, sending the match into utter disarray.
As players from both sides clashed a fan leapt over the guard rail, charging towards the players.
But he didn’t get far as a security guard rugby-tackled him to the ground while stewards rushed in to drag him away.
An FA statement has confirmed both clubs are being charged with breaching FA Rule E20.1.
The statement read: “Birmingham City and Ipswich Town have been charged with a breach of FA Rule E20.1
“Following the mass confrontation at their EFL Championship fixture on Friday 8 August.

“It’s alleged that both clubs failed to ensure their players didn’t behave in an improper and/or provocative way around the 95th minute and they have until Friday 15 August to reply.”
The drama overshadowed the football with Birmingham initially leading thanks to a strike from Jay Stansfield.
But the penalty drama stole the show and Ipswich’s late equaliser sparked the wild scenes at St Andrew’s.
Birmingham’s Christoph Klarer was seen storming towards Ipswich’s Conor Chaplin, with players from both teams rushing in to separate the pair.
Even veteran Ashley Young now 40 and playing for Ipswich joined in to try and calm things down.
The match ended 1-1, marking the fourth consecutive season-opening draw for Birmingham.
Despite only managing one shot on target, Ipswich defender Jacob Greaves insisted they deserved the point.
He said: “The first 15 minutes were tough but we got back in the game and it felt like we could have gone on to win it.
“The foul on the keeper was questionable but George scored and got us the point we deserved.”
