A BODY has been found in the search for a 16-year-old boy who vanished while swimming in a lake with friends.
Police were called to Crown Lakes in Farcet, Peterborough, at 4pm on Thursday.

Cambridgeshire Police said search teams remained at the scene through the night.
Pictures showed specialist teams scouring the lake for the teenager.
A number of fire and ambulance vehicles were also spotted assisting.
It is believed the teen, from Peterborough, was swimming when he got into difficulty.
Cambridgeshire Police confirmed today search teams recovered a body from the lake just before midnight.
A force spokesperson said: “We were called at 4pm yesterday (3 April) by the ambulance service reporting concerns for a teenage boy in the water at Crown Lakes, Farcet, Peterborough. It is believed the boy, who is 16 and from Peterborough, was swimming in the lake when he got into difficulty.
“Search teams recovered a body from the lake just before midnight.
“While formal identification is yet to take place, it is believed to be that of the missing boy and his family have been notified.
“This case will now be handed to the coroner.”
