Body found in hunt for missing woman, 45, who was last seen wearing Peaky Blinders t-shirt

THE frantic hunt for a missing woman has come to a tragic end after police announced the discovery of a body.

Lisa Blagg was last seen in the Old Nazeing Road area of Broxbourne yesterday evening but vanished shortly later.

Cops out looking for the missing 45-year-old confirmed today that a body had been found.

The search for missing Lisa Blagg was subsequently called off and her family were informed of the discovery.

Specialist officers are currently supporting her grieving relatives.

Her tragic death is being treated as unexpected but not suspicious, a report is being prepared for HM coroner.

Lisa was last seen wearing a Peaky Blinders t-shirt with cops appealing for the public’s help locating her.

In a desperate bid to track down the missing woman Essex Police told the public to report any sightings of her.

Cops said Lisa was described as having black hair and was last seen wearing a grey Peaky Blinders t-shirt and tracksuit bottoms.

Officers believed Lisa was travelling on foot.

A spokesperson for Essex Police said today: “We have suspended our search for Lisa Blagg, who was missing from Broxbourne.

“It follows the discovery of a woman’s body as officers carried out their search.

“Lisa’s family have been informed and are being supported by our officers.

“The woman’s death is being treated as unexpected but not suspicious, and a file will be prepared for HM Coroner.”
