A BODY has been found in the search for a missing woman last seen “walking in a rain jacket” after vanishing from her home.
Sally, 62, was last seen at her home in Llanwrtyd Wells in mid-Wales at around 1.30pm yesterday.
She is believed to have been wearing a knee-length, khaki green coat and was last seen with her hood up.
Last night cops said a body had been found in the search for missing Sally.
The body has not yet been formally identified, but Sally’s family has been informed.
Cops are now probing her death and have appealed to the public for information.
Dyfed Powys Police said: “We are saddened to confirm the body of a woman has been found during the search for missing 62-year-old Sally.
“She had been reported missing in Llanwrtyd Wells, yesterday.
“Formal identification has not yet taken place, but her family has been informed of the development.
“Our thoughts are with them at this difficult time.
“Enquiries around the circumstances surrounding the death have commenced.
“Anyone with information that could help the investigation is asked to contact us.”
