THE body of actor Cole Brings Plenty has been discovered in Kansas after police issued a warrant for his arrest on Tuesday.
Plenty gained fame with his role in 1923, the prequel to the popular TV show Yellowstone, where his uncle Moses J. Brings Plenty appears regularly.

The 27-year-old’s body was discovered late Friday morning by Kansas Sheriff’s officers in Johnson County, according to a press release by the department.
Police received a call at approximately 11:45 am about an unoccupied vehicle on Homestead Lane near Edgerton.
When they went to check it out, they soon discovered the body of a deceased man in the woods near the car.
The Lawrence Police Department had been searching for Plenty for the previous few days following allegations of domestic violence.
Authorities said they were called to an apartment in Lawrence on Sunday when neighbors heard a woman screaming for help.
Officers “identified [Plenty] as the suspect, have probable cause for his arrest, and issued an alert to area agencies,” a statement by the Lawrence Police Department said.
His family cooperated with police and expressed concern about his whereabouts, ultimately reporting him as a missing person.
Plenty’s uncle, Mo, shared a missing person poster of his nephew in an Instagram post on Tuesday.
The poster shared that Plenty was last seen on Sunday night leaving Lawrence, Kansas in his 2005 white Ford Explorer.
The actor missed an appointment with his agent, “which is uncharacteristic for him,” setting off the search, Mo said.
A CAREER CUT SHORT
Plenty played a sheepherder named Pete Plenty Clouds in the spinoff 1923, a Paramount+ prequel following the lives of the Duttons during the Great Depression, prohibition, and other era challenges.
He plays the role of a father and powerful tribesman trying to protect his family and his people from the white settlers and priests trying to take their heritage.
The popular series was the actor’s first credit, according to IMDB.
He appeared in two other series over the last year, including The Tall Tales of Jim Bridger and Into the Wild Frontier.
QUESTIONS UNANSWERED
Before Plenty’s body was found in the forest, his family, friends, and police were searching for him.
Yellowstone star Cole Hauser also put out an Instagram alert concerning Plenty’s missing status on Tuesday.
“My good friend @mobringsplenty nephew is missing. He was last seen on Easter evening in Kansas City,” Hauser wrote.
“If you have any information on his whereabouts please contact the below or your local police.”
The investigation into what happened to Plenty is ongoing and police have asked the public to contact them if they have any information pertaining to his death.
