Boeing passenger ‘DIES in horror turbulence’ on flight from London sparking emergency landing in latest airline tragedy

A PASSENGER has reportedly died during horror turbulence on a flight from London to Singapore – sparking an emergency landing.

The Boeing 777 plane operated by Singapore Airlines left the UK shortly after 10pm on Monday.

Flight SQ321 reportedly experienced severe turbulence on route to Singapore during extreme tropical thunderstorms in the region.

The plane was diverted to the Suvarnabhumi International Airport in Bangkok where it made an emergency landing shortly before 4pm local time.

It had been due to land at Singapore’s Changi Airport at 6.10pm local time.

One passenger died and around 20 others were injured – leading to the emergency landing, according local media reports.

Pictures showed ambulances lined up on the tarmac next to the plane in Thailand.

Other images showed food and cutlery strewn across the aisles of the Boeing plane.

The Sun has approached Singapore Airlines for comment.
