A TEENAGER was arrested suspected of going on a frenzied shooting rampage at a Bangkok mall that left three people dead.

He is suspected of opening fire with a Glock 19 handgun inside the building in the centre of the Thai capital shortly after 4pm local time.
The attack has reportedly left another four people injured – including a foreign national.
Hundreds of panicked shoppers were seen fleeing the scene after gunshots were heard inside the building.
Dramatic footage shared online showed customers running out of the doors of the mall as security guards ushered them out.
One of the videos showed people taking cover in a darkened room inside a restaurant.
While in another gunshots can be heard clearly.
Shocked onlookers said they had heard “five or six” shots in the centre of the Thai capital shortly after 4pm local time.
At least one injured person was seen being carried from the mall shortly after.
First responders could be seen entering the building as sirens wailed outside.
Security guards were seen directing panic-stricken locals from the exit through the car park.
Other shoppers were stuck inside the building – hiding inside shops with their shutters pulled down.
A Chinese tourist Liu Shiying who is still taking cover inside the building, said that she saw people running and saying someone had opened fire.
She added that an alarm rang out inside the mall and the lights went out.
Police have now closed the building.
Police spokesperson Achayon Kraithong said the national police chief had ordered and dispatched officers to control the area to resolve the situation.
The nearby Siam metro station has also been closed, according to local media.
It comes just days before the one-year anniversary of the horrifying attack at a daycare centre in Na Klang that plunged Thailand into mourning.
