A TEEN accused of murdering Brianna Ghey posted a Snapchat tribute to her “amazing friend” the day after stabbing her to death, a court heard.
The girl, known legally as X, shared a picture of the 16-year-old surrounded by doves as police appealed for information, it was said.

She wrote: “Brianna was one of the best people I have ever met, such an amazing friend.
“It is f***ing sickening what got done to her.”
Jurors heard X, then aged 15, also wrote: “Rest in peace”.
Manchester Crown Court was told the girl shared the Snapchat post the day after she and her male accomplice Y lured Brianna to Linear Park in Warrington.
Once there, the transgender schoolgirl was knifed 28 times by the pair, it is said.
Jurors heard X and Y were arrested after the girl’s mum phoned police because her daughter had spent the day with Brianna.
X told police on the phone she had been with Brianna and Y in the park but that the schoolgirl had left to meet a 17-year-old lad from Manchester.
Bodycam footage then showed officers arresting X at her home as she stands at the top of the stairs.
As her arms are handcuffed, one cop says: “Be careful. She has got really small wrists.”
X then asked the officer: “How come I’m a suspect? Is it because I was the last person to see her alive?”
Jurors heard X and Y were “preoccupied with violence, torture and death” and “encouraged one another to to think about how they would actually carry out a killing”.
They “planned together to kill Brianna in just the way that she was in fact killed”, it was said.
The pair also allegedly compiled a list of four people they wanted to kill in addition to Brianna.
X had grown “obsessed” with the teen and allegedly gave her painkillers in a bid to kill her before the fatal stabbing.
She also allegedly wrote a note headed “Saturday 11th February 2023. Victim: Brianna Ghey” – the day the schoolgirl was killed.
It read: “Meet Y at wooden posts 1pm. Walk down to library…bus stop. Wait until Brianna gets off bus then the 3 of us walk to linear park. Go to the pipe/tunnel area.
“I say code word to Y. He stabs her in the back as I stab her in the stomach. Y drags the body into the area. We both cover up the area with logs etc”.
When officers then raided her home, they discovered another note with a “plan to kill”, it was said.
This one said: “Slit throat, dismember body, place pieces in bin bags, bury bags 7 feet underground”.
Officers also discovered notes about serial killers, including Jeffrey Dahmer, Richard Ramirez and Harold Shipman.
X and Y, who legally can’t be named, both deny murder.
