A BRIGHTON fan tragically died after the club’s Premier League opener against Fulham.
A 72-year-old man passed away following the 1-1 draw on Saturday at the Amex.

According to the BBC, he became unwell during the second half of the clash.
Emergency services on site attended the scene.
But unfortunately, the fan sadly died.
Brighton confirmed the tragic news on social media.
And they paid tribute to the unnamed fan with a statement.
It read: “The thoughts of everyone at the club are with the family and friends of a 72-year-old supporter who sadly passed away following the conclusion of today’s match against Fulham.”
Fulham also paid their respects online.
The Cottagers said: “Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of the Brighton supporter who sadly passed away after this afternoon’s match.
“We extend our deepest sympathies with everyone at Brighton & Hove Albion FC, their fans, players and staff.”
Fans also paid tribute to the deceased supporter.
One said: “Condolences to the family.”
Another declared: “Thoughts go out to the supporter.”
One noted: “Absolutely tragic.”
Another added: “Sending prayers.”
The fan’s passing came after Brighton and Fulham shared the points on the south coast.
The hosts took the lead in the 55th minute through a Matt O’Riley penalty.
But there was drama to come as Rodrigo Muniz equalised for Fulham in the SEVENTH minute of stoppage time.
