The boy was on holiday with his family on the Spanish island when the horror accident took place at around 12pm.
He hurt himself after running along the hotel corridor and smashing into the glass, according to local reports.
The youngster was immediately taken to Son Espases Hospital in the island’s capital, Palma.
There he had an emergency operation to treat his wounds.
Cops were called to the scene and have launched an investigation what happened.
This comes after a Brit tourist was left fighting for his life after reportedly falling from a third-floor apartment in Ibiza.
The 19-year-old was rushed to hospital after being found unconscious on the pavement with severe injuries on Sunday evening.
He was treated for head trauma and serious multiple injuries at the Can Misses Hospital, as reported by the Ibiza and Formentera Health Area (Asef).
From there he was airlifted by helicopter to the Son Espases Hospital in Mallorca for further treatment.
It is thought that the Brit fell from the third floor of the Ibiza property above the street but the police are still looking into what happened.
A spokesman for the Civil Guard in Majorca said: “The causes behind what happened are being investigated.
“The man taken to hospital is British and 19.”
Last year there were a string of tragic incidents in Brit holiday spots in Spain.
A British tourist tragically plunged to her death from the sixth-floor of a hotel in Ibiza in August.
