Locals volunteering to help with the mammoth clean-up operation discovered the couple on Saturday, Mayor Andoni Leon confirmed yesterday.
They were found in the rural area where they lived near the town of Pedralba.
The number of people killed in the devastating floods is expected to rise – with some 2,000 people still missing across the country.
Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez has deployed 5,000 soldiers to help recover bodies and survivors, on top of the 2,000 already on the ground.
A further 5,000 police officers will also be dispatched to flood-hit areas, as well as a Spanish navy ship to accommodate helicopters.
Addressing the nation this weekend, the PM said: “We are talking about the largest deployment of state security forces and bodies of the armed forces that has ever been made in our country in times of peace.”
Another British man, aged 71, died in hospital last week after he was rescued by boat from his flooded home near Malaga.
