He plunged from the Mercadona supermarket car park in the holiday resort of San Antonio.
He taken to the private Nuestra Senora del Rosario Polyclinic on the island.
A spokesperson said around lunchtime today: “Regrettably and despite all the efforts of medical personnel, the patient who fell yesterday in San Antonio has died due to the severity of his injuries.”
Paramedics in two ambulances had stabilised him at the scene.
A hospital spokesman said he was admitted just after 9.30pm last night.
The man has not yet been named.
A well-placed source said earlier: “Yesterday a 25-year-old man fell from the car park of the Mercadona supermarket in San Antonio.
“He was taken by an advanced life support ambulance to the Nuestra Senora del Rosario Polyclinic where he was admitted at 21:38.”
It is not clear whether the injured man was alone or with other people at the time of the fall.
It is unknown exactly where the injured man comes from in the UK.
The Civil Guard is understood to have launched an investigation into the incident.
No one from the police force could be reached early this morning for comment.
The height from which the man fell is not yet known.
It comes after a Scottish teenager died last year after falling from a sixth-floor hotel balcony in Ibiza.
Emma Ramsay, 19, from Hamilton, had been partying with friends before the tragic fall.
Tributes quickly poured in following the tragedy.
Her mother wrote: “My angel, Emma. I don’t even know where to begin.
“You are my daughter my best friend in the whole world and I am going to miss you more than words will ever express
“Rest in peace my sweet angel and sleep tight, mummy loves you so so much.”
