PEOPLE convicted of three serious crimes will be jailed for life under Nigel Farage’s bid to restore law and order to Britain.

The sentencing vow is part of a £17.4billion crime and policing plan unveiled yesterday by the Reform UK leader.

He also pledged to halve illegal behaviour if he triumphs in the next election.

And he promised to recruit an extra 30,000 police officers within five years.

Highlighting The Sun on Sunday’s coverage of “Lawless UK”, he said he would look to target reoffenders.

Asked if he would adopt a “three strikes and you’re out” policy, he said: “We’re certainly moving in that direction, yes.”

Mr Farage said while the primary aim of the prison system should be rehabilitation, that is not possible for “a certain percentage” who use jail as a “kind of school to learn how to be better criminals when they come out”.

He added: “You know, 50 per cent of crime is committed by ten per cent of criminals. These are repeat offenders.”

He also has plans to ship Britain’s 10,000 worst paedophiles and murderers to serve their sentences in countries like El Salvador

He said: “I haven’t spoken to El Salvador yet, but we do know they’re quite happy to take American violent offenders, so I don’t see any reason why not.”

Mr Farage also vowed to repatriate every foreign criminal and has already struck a deal with Albania.

He warned of “simmering anger and disgust” over the influx of male migrants.

He pointed to protests in Epping, Essex, as an Ethiopian asylum seeker was charged with sex assault.

Mr Farage said: “I don’t think anybody in London even understands just how close we are to civil disobedience on a vast scale.”
