DONALD Trump is returning to the White House and some of the more clueless people are asking the question: “What is Trump going to do in the next four years?”
I say that’s clueless, because if there’s one thing we know about Trump it’s that he says what he thinks.

Added to that, Trump isn’t like most politicians. When he says he’s going to do a thing, he actually does it.
Much of the world couldn’t believe that would be the case in 2016. They shouldn’t doubt it this time.
Tuesday’s election has given Trump a historic mandate. And we know what he is going to do with it. And the world better get ready.
Trump’s priority is the American public. He has risen back to office because of vast unhappiness about the direction the USA was going in under Biden-Harris.
One of the huge issues in America — like Britain — has been historically high immigration. Both legal and illegal.
He pitched to the American workers who have been laid off, seen their jobs disappear, or seen their salaries undercut by foreign workers.
That is why Trump is a fan of tariffs. Because he recognises that America has been taken advantage of.
If foreign companies that under-cut American companies think they can do so without paying for it, they have another think coming.
Certainly if they want to sell their products in the US. The time of America being taken advantage of will be over.
And all of Trump’s policies tie together. One of the huge issues in America — like Britain — has been historically high immigration. Both legal and illegal.
In America — like Britain — this not only wrecks the fabric of a society. It also runs up welfare budgets.
And it also imports a group of people some of whom might be willing to work.
But for a far lower wage than the average American worker.
Cities such as New York have spent years putting in minimum wage laws — only for the Democrats to allow millions of illegals to come in and then work off-book, or in the black market, for many dollars an hour cheaper. Trump wants to stop that.
Biden put deal in freezer
Some people who are hoping to scare the British public are claiming that Britain’s economy will suffer because of Trump. Nothing could be more absurd.
Even when our politicians are needlessly insulting him (such as David Lammy and Sadiq Khan) Trump has warm feelings towards this country.

AFPForeign Secretary David Lammy described Trump as ‘a racist KKK and Nazi sympathiser’[/caption]
During his last term in office, the US and UK were trying to tie up a post-Brexit trade deal. It got close and didn’t happen only because time ran out in 2020. Biden put it in the freezer.
If the Labour Government can hold their pride there is no reason why they should not pick up the talks where the Conservatives left off.
Trump’s White House could give Britain the big, bold trade deal that would boost our country’s economy.
During his four years in office the anti-Trump media always pretended he was about to blow up the world. But notice that during those four years, no new wars were started.
On the world stage, Trump also has plans. He ran on a clear anti-war ticket. But Trump’s anti-war message is not like some hippy message.
He doesn’t believe that peace is something you can just chant into being.
He knows you only achieve it by keeping bad people at bay. And by making sure they stay there.
During his four years in office the anti-Trump media always pretended he was about to blow up the world.
But notice that during those four years, no new wars were started.
Whereas the moment Biden went into the White House wars broke out everywhere.
That is because — whether it is Putin in Russia or the Ayatollahs in Tehran — there are some bad people who act when they see weakness.
In Biden these people saw weakness. So Russia invaded Ukraine, and Iran launched a seven-front war on Israel.
Trump has long said he would pull these wars to a close.
In Ukraine that will likely mean an effort to negotiate a settlement.
No money, no terror
It may not be to anyone’s liking, but his priority is to stop the killing there. And stop Putin thinking he can go any further.
In the Middle East there is an opportunity for a historic moment.
In his last term in office, Trump oversaw the most amazing peace process the region had seen in decades.
The Abraham Accords saw Arab states normalise relations with Israel. The agreements have held.
But the revolutionary government in Iran remains the problem.
It is colonising vast parts of the Middle East and trying to dominate everywhere.
Trump is the only recent leader to have stared them down. Mainly by sanctioning and bankrupting them.
The BBC, the wet Tories and dull Labourites get none of this. But it doesn’t matter.
If Iran had no money for terror, there would be no terror. I hope Trump makes them come crawling again.
All of this is, of course, the sort of thing that the usual followers of bad ideas in London and Brussels hate.
The BBC, the wet Tories and dull Labourites get none of this. But it doesn’t matter.
Trump smashed their consensus once. And now he has the mandate to smash it a second time.
Who knows, perhaps this time his opponents will realise that with Trump, it is wise to listen. And believe him.
