AT least 19 people were injured after a car smashed into a group of children – with the youngest victim being just seven years old.
Police arrested a BMW driver following the horrifying collision in the German capital which left two children hospitalised.

At least 19 people are injured including children as young as seven after a horror crash in Berlin
The harrowing crash occurred on Thursday afternoon at 1:10pm, Bild reported.
The outlet also said the children hit were between the ages of seven and eight.
The car reportedly smashed into the group while making a turn at the corner of Dohnagestell, on Seestraße.
A spokesperson for the Berlin fire brigade confirmed the car drove into a group children walking with their teachers.
The children were rushed to Virchow hospital following the terrifying collision.
At least one of the caretakers were reportedly seriously injured.
The BMW driver who was arrested was left unharmed.
Photos showed the suspect leaning against his car while being quizzed by cops.
The car’s front headlight was also seen damaged following the crash.
Police and fire departments rushed to the scene to secure the site of the accident.
They also looked after the distressed children before some were taken to hospital.
In July, a boy was left fighting for his life after a car ploughed into a trampoline before launching into the air and smashing into a barn in Germany.
The terrifying crash occurred when a Volvo SUV veered off the road, tore through two hedges and hit the child with full force.
The two-ton vehicle then went airborne and crashed into the roof and wall of a nearby barn – coming to rest three metres off the ground, embedded in the structure.
The garden was turned into ruins, with the trampoline mangled beyond recognition and several trees downed.
Cops in the Lower Saxony town of Bohmte said on Sunday the seven-year-old suffered life-threatening injuries after Saturday night’s crash.
There were five people inside the black car, including three children aged 11, 12, and 13, Bild reported.
A 43-year-old female passenger was seriously injured, while the others sustained minor injuries.
In June, at least five people were injured after a car ploughed into a crowd in Germany.
A five-year-old girl was understood to be among the wounded after the horror crash in Passau.
The driver’s wife, 38, was also hurt, according to Bild.
Three people were seriously injured, according to a police spokesperson, while five were reportedly rushed to hospital.
