FANS will be glued to the screens as they wait to see who their team will be paired against in the Carabao Cup second round draw – and the ball numbers have been revealed.
Manchester United’s 15th-place finish and Europa League final defeat last season meant that they missed out on European football for the 2025/26 campaign.

And as a result, the Red Devils will be in the hat as early as the second round of this season’s Carabao Cup competition.
They could be drawn against Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mcelhenney’s Wrexham in the second round.
They will be joined by the ten other Premier League sides that have no European commitments, and 35 EFL clubs that are victorious in the first round.

When is the Carabao Cup second round draw?
The Carbao Cup second round draw will take place on Wednesday, August 13.
It is scheduled to get underway during the build-up to Birmingham vs Sheffield United at St Andrew’s.
That means the draw will begin at 7:20pm BST on Sky Sports.
