CCTV has been released in the hunt for an alleged dine and dash couple who have supposedly fled at least THREE restaurants in Warwickshire.

Footage shows the pair eating at a table in Agra Palace in Nuneaton on March 22 before they supposedly left without paying.

The couple arrived at Agra Palace at 8.45pm on March 22

The restaurant owner said they ran up a £160 bill before leaving

He said they pretended to be going out for a cigarette before leaving without paying

Owner Jamal Ullah told The Sun: “First the woman left saying she was going for a smoke, then about four or five minutes later the man left.

“He left his jacket behind so we thought they would come back to the table.”

He said they’d run up a £160 bill before leaving in a white car.

Mr Ullah said he should have suspected something “was a bit fishy” when they ordered so much, but said the restaurant was busy at the time.

He added that the man even asked him to watch his jacket while he went out to see his wife, before they vanished.

They had walked in without a booking at 8.45pm, on what was a Saturday night and ordered “two bottles of wine, lagers, expensive starters and main causes”.

Days before, on March 17, they are also alleged to have targeted the Red Lion in nearby Corley.

A spokesperson for the pub told CoventryLive: “I’m angry and disappointed. They’ve clearly done it at many other places.

“They come in and once ordered pop in and out for a smoke, so when they do run I guess it’s so you think they’re just going for a smoke.

“But the bill was an excessive amount for two people, including bottles of wine, pints of beer and even shots of gin. Starters, the most expensive mains and sides.

“So it’s a thought out plan they have. They had no intention of paying.”

After Mr Ullah put out an appeal on Facebook, another venue – pub The Bull & Butcher in Corley Moor, Coventry – claimed to have also been targeted by the couple.

Asked about the Red Lion incident, a Warwickshire Police spokesman told CoventryLive: “Enquiries are ongoing as officers work to identify the individuals involved.”

GLAM ‘DINE & DASH’ MUMS

It comes after two glammed up mums appeared to speed away from a Chinese restaurant in West London without paying.

Footage showed the pair allegedly trying to walk out of the venue with their kids on March 23.

The clip reveals outraged staff and customers at Pangs Chinese, in Uxbridge, try to stop the young women.

CCTV from outside the site pans to the shameless “dine-and-dashers” as they jump into a white car.

An employee rushes out to flag the greedy guzzlers down but the speed off.

Pangs Chinese shared the disgusting act on Facebook and have reported it to the Metropolitan Police.
