CHELSEA have made the shock move to recall Marc Guiu from his loan at Sunderland after just three games.
The Blues have been in a mad scramble to bring in another striker before Monday’s deadline after Liam Delap suffered a hamstring injury against Fulham on Saturday.

Chelsea initially blocked Nicolas Jackson’s own loan move to Bayern Munich just minutes after the Senegalese striker touched down in Bavaria for a medical.
Jackson is understood to still be in Germany hopeful of completing the £13million loan move, which had a £53m option to turn permanent.
But Sky Sports Germany have, on Sunday evening, reported that that deal is now “100 per cent off”.
That should mean Jackson will be available for Enzo Maresca again.
Even so, Chelsea opted to bring Guiu back from the Stadium of Light.
According to The Telegraph, a verbal agreement was made on Sunday afternoon for the teenager to return to West London.
Guiu, 19, only joined the newly-promoted Black Cats on August 6.
But 25 days later, it appears the loan spell is all over.

He scored once in his three appearances under Regis Le Bris – a late equaliser in the Carabao Cup penalty shootout defeat to Huddersfield on Tuesday.
However, the Spaniard may well be lining up for the Blues again after the international break – hoping to add to his six goals in 16 appearances for the club, all of which came in last season’s Conference League glory.
Chelsea splashed out £90m on Delap and Joao Pedro this summer.
But a knock to Cole Palmer has seen Pedro play in the No10 role behind Delap in attack.
So when the ex-Ipswich man limped off clutching his hamstring against Fulham, young winger Tyrique George replaced him.
But with Delap only set to be out for six to eight weeks, Palmer returning to fitness and Jackson’s transfer possibly falling through, Maresca could have four strikers to choose from come November.
Plus they have been linked with a last-minute bid for Conrad Harder, Viktor Gyokeres’ understudy at Sporting.
Maresca also boasts a plethora of wingers to choose from – including summer signings Jamie Gittens, Estevao and Alejandro Garnacho.
The Argentine joined from Manchester United for £40m after being dumped into Ruben Amorim’s ‘Bomb Squad’ at Old Trafford.
