Chelsea vs Leicester preview
Chelsea will be aiming to make it three successive wins in all competitions when struggling Leicester City arrive at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
The Blues backed up their 4-0 thrashing of rock-bottom Southampton with a 2-1 victory over FC Copenhagen in the Conference League.
Manager Enzo Maresca was afforded the luxury of resting several first-team players for the trip to Denmark.
But they’ll be back to full strength as they look to get themselves back into the top four and strengthen their chances of Champions League football next season.
And it should – on paper at least – be a straightforward three points for the hosts.
Leicester City have lost 11 of their last 12 Premier League games, losing four in a row to nil while conceding at least twice, since beating Spurs 2-1 in January.
Ruud Van Nistelrooy’s side have the lowest expected goals total of any side in the Premier League this season, while only Liverpool have a higher xG than Chelsea.
The Blues might be suffering from travel sickness having won only one of their last eight, but there are no issue at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea have only lost one of their last 18 games at home in all competitions, while they’ve only failed to score 2+ goals on four occasions during that run.
They’ve also won five of their last six against the Foxes, who themselves have won just one of their last 11 Premier League away games against Chelsea.

The Portuguese attacker, 24, has scored twice and provided two assists in his last five appearances for Chelsea – including one of each against Southampton last time out.
